Meet Dr. Michelle

Who is Dr. Michelle Herczeg, DC?

Dr. Michelle Herczeg, DC, is the owner of Severna Park Family Chiropractic and a member of the PX Docs network, a group of chiropractors dedicated to serving kids and families with gentle, specific, neurologically based care. PX Docs pursue advanced training in areas such as pediatrics, neurodevelopment, sensory challenges, and spectrum challenges. In the office, Dr. Herczeg takes time to listen, asks detailed questions, and treats a parent's instincts as important information. She chooses gentle techniques for each patient, from newborns to parents, so care fits the person in front of her rather than a one-size-fits-all routine.

Our mission

What is the mission of Severna Park Family Chiropractic?

Our mission is to provide hope, answers, and drug-free help to families by looking for the root causes of their challenges rather than only chasing symptoms. Many parents come to us after hearing that a concern will pass on its own, or after trying several options without clear answers. We start by understanding how the nervous system is handling stress, then build a plan around what we find. Care is meant to support the whole family, because a well-regulated parent is better able to support a regulated child. Read about our pediatric and prenatal care.

The PX Docs difference

What makes a PX Docs office different?

As a PX Docs office, our care rests on six principles that guide every visit. They are not about being better than other chiropractors. They reflect a different focus that many families find helpful, especially parents who have been searching for answers about sleep, digestion, development, or regulation. Each principle shapes how we listen, test, and plan care:

  • Neurologically focused: care starts with the nervous system
  • INSiGHT Scans: technology that objectively measures nervous system function, explained on our INSiGHT Scans page
  • Root cause care: looking for what is driving a child's challenges
  • Doctors who listen: a parent's instincts are taken seriously
  • Personalized plans: care built around each child's unique nervous system
  • Extensive training: advanced study in pediatrics, neurodevelopment, sensory, spectrum, and more

Frequently Asked Questions About Dr. Michelle Herczeg and Our Severna Park Office

Does Dr. Herczeg see babies and kids?

Yes. Pediatric and family wellness care is the heart of our practice. Dr. Herczeg sees newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age kids, using gentle, specific adjustments suited to each child's size and stage. Families often visit when a baby struggles with colic, reflux, constipation, or poor sleep, and we evaluate how the nervous system is functioning before recommending any care.

Do you care for expecting moms?

Yes. Prenatal care is a core part of what we do. Dr. Herczeg provides gentle, specific adjustments for expecting moms that aim to support nervous system balance as the body changes through each stage of pregnancy. Every plan is personalized after a detailed history and exam. Learn more on our prenatal chiropractic page.

Is Severna Park Family Chiropractic part of a network?

Yes. Our office is a member of the PX Docs network, a group of chiropractors who serve kids and families with gentle, specific, neurologically based care. Network offices share a focus on the nervous system, use INSiGHT Scans to measure function, and pursue advanced training in pediatrics, neurodevelopment, sensory, and spectrum challenges.
